Laxapana Falls, Nuwara Eliya District ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿชด๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ฐ




  • Laxapana Falls is 126 m high and the 8th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and 625th highest waterfall in the world. It is situated in Maskeliya area in Nuwara Eliya District, about 16 km from Maskeliya town on Maskeliya-Norton Bridge road, in a village called Kiriwan Eliya.
  • Kehelgamu Oya and Maskeli Oya provide water to the more beautiful Lakshapana Falls. Both are riverbeds related to the Kelani River. As the water level is generally short-lived during any year of the year. Lakshapana Falls falls throughout the year throughout the year. Due to the Sri Paada site, there is a waterfall on the park, which was endowed with the natural environment.
